Saturday 7/14/2012 Colorado Amigos vs Denver Indians at Cornerstone Park, Littleton - Reported by Prasad Sajja(Denver Indians)
Denver Indians won the toss and elected to bat first. Denver Indians batting started the innings slowly and lost two wickets quickly. Arun and Manish from Colorado Amigos bowled well initially maintaining a steady line and length and not giving any room for the batsman to score. After 10 Overs Denver Indians made 45/4, later Denver Indian batsman Kedar and Rahul played superbly rotating strikes and made the score board ticking. Rahul took advantage of two catch drops and hit 2 huge sixes. Kedar (41) and Rahul (31) made a good partnership of 65 runs and took the Denver Indians score to 135 in 20 overs. Pick of bowlers for Colorado Amigos are Arun 14/2 and Ram 20/2.
Colorado Amigos started batting with a huge target to chase, they lost two wickets in the first five overs. Pramod and Bijaya started to build up the partnership but Raghu from Denver Indians direct hit from square leg got Bijaya run out. Colorado Amigos kept on loosing the wickets at regular intervals and where 51/5 after 10 overs. Manish and Abhijit started building good partnership rotating the strike and hitting the bad balls for fours. Colorado Amigos innings collapsed after Manish (21) got out and in overall they managed to score only 82 runs in 17.1 overs. Pick of bowlers for Denver Indians are Rahul 21/2 and Kushal 18/3.
Man Of the match was Rahul Dhar for his all-round performance.
Sunday 7/15/2012 Crazy Cricketers vs Spartans at Memorial Park, Colorado Springs - Reported by Seshu Velpuri(Crazy Cricketers)
Due to the overnight rain, the ground, pitch were completely wet and game was delayed for 30 minutes. Crazy Cricketers won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Crazy Cricketers bowled extremely well from the beginning. Spartans were loosing wickets at quick intervals. At half time, Spartans were 25/5. Later part of innings was better for Spartans where they added 40 runs with few boundaries from Keshav, and Sandeep.
Crazy Cricketers responded with complete confidence where the opening pair started off well. However, Crazy Cricketers struggled with running between wickets and lost 3 wickets. Crazy Cricketers comfortably achieved the target in 18.2 overs with losing 6 wickets. Crazy Cricketers won by 4 wickets.
Arpan for his excellent bowling and batting declared MOM.
Sunday 7/15/2012 Warriors vs Denver Chargers at Memorial Park, Colorado Springs - Reported by Ravi Badam(Warriors)
Warriors won the toss and elected to field. Gaurav and Deepu started off the innings for Denver Chargers with a good partnership. Both the openers got lucky with dropped chances by Warriors in the bowling of Sandeep. Chargers were 39/2 at the end of 10 overs looking for a big total. Warriors took wickets at regular intervals and contained Chargers to 89/9. Top scorers for Chargers are Gaurav (27), Dileep (13) and Rishi (12). Top wicket takers for Warriros Ramesh (3), Sesha (2) and Ravi (2).
Warriors started the run chase steadily scoring 1’s and 2’s. Chargers used 6 bowlers for the first 6 overs a strategy which back fired. Top scorers from Warriors are Viswanath (29), Sandeep (21) and Manohar (15). Warriors scored 92/6 in 18.2 overs for a comfortable win. Sandeep from Warriors is worth mentioning as an upcoming player for his bowling and 21 runs on debut.

Saturday 7/14/2012 Anchors vs SCC at Country Field Park, Erie - Reported by Adithya Borra(Anchors)
Anchors' new signing, Lakshman, made an immediate impact to set up a challenging win over Superior Cricket Club in their second match of the season. Lakshman swiped his way to a 29-ball 54 in a nail-biting chase, with support from beefy Ravi Dixit, who was part of their 78 run stand. Lakshman became the first man to make a fifty on debut, but even more incredibly the Anchors became the first team to chase down 150-plus scores this season, that too with 10 balls to spare.
Anchors won the toss and decided to field. It was a heartening performance from Superior Cricket Club, considering their swift running in their first 10 overs. SCC were 58/3 after 10 overs. The arrival of Shiva perked up the run-rate. Murali as always was consistent at taking quick singles and rotating the strike. He scored 31 runs, with no boundaries, indicating how miserly his running was. Soon, he was dismissed in the 13th over. Some crucial contributions from Shiva, Babu and Vikram lifted the score to 150.
The start of Anchors' chase was promising as well, with Lakshman threading the first three balls from Vikram to the mid-wicket boundary in the second over. Bharath and Lakshman together put up a strong opening start of 37 in the first four overs. Bharath, however, in the process of slapping a short ball ball from Vikram was caught behind. Ravi who joined Lakshman added a quick 78 runs for the second wicket, smashing the ball all across the park in their stand to boost the Anchors before the lower order was reined in. The pair never looked like stopping right from the get-go. Lakshman reached his fifty in the 11th over which included four sixes and two boundaries. Ravi scored 32 also was able to clear the boundary twice with the one over long-on standing out. Soon, both of them were dismissed in consecutive overs. For a team with big hitters at the middle order, Anchors were soon 126/6 in 16 overs. Fortunes kept oscillating in the final overs, but for most periods in the chase, Anchors were in control. Adithya fetched two boundaries in the penultimate over, bailing out Anchors in a nail-biting chase.

Sunday 7/15/2012 Panthers vs Jaguars at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Anand Krishnan(Jaguars)
After being put in to bat, the newly anointed “Jaguars” T20 season started on a disastrous note with Boomi getting run out of the very first ball. Panthers kept it simple and held on to their catches in the next few overs. Mrugesh was unflustered and kept the score board ticking even though 3 more wickets fell by the 5th over. Imran (12) followed by Mitul (19 n.o.) ably supported Mrugesh who played a well-paced knock of 46 laced with 4 boundaries. Alagarasan and Sachin took 2 wickets each for Panthers.
Panthers started their innings cautiously. Imran and Kuldeep were miserly in their opening spell. Kuldeep drew first blood in the 4th over of the innings when the score was just 8. Sachin counterattacked after the bowling change and hit a huge 6 off Indra to take the score to 31 off 7 overs. Jaguars applied the brakes to the scoring by introducing Rushabh and Anand who between them reduced the Panthers from 31/1 to 35/6. Srinath got his debut wicket playing for Jaguars having Aditya caught behind. Vinay batted valiantly for his 21, well supported by Alagarasan but both perished to the steep asking rate.

Sunday 7/15/2012 Buffs vs WyoCC at Lower Garden Acres, Longmont - Reported by Amit Thakar(WyoCC)
Buffs won the toss and decided to bat first. Pratik opened the innings for Buffs and started aggressively but could not last long and was out in 3rd over. There after Bharath (19) and Arun (25) played sensibly and had a good partnership 33 runs in 6 overs. After the 2nd wicket partnership was broken buffs started losing wickets at regular interval and were 66 for 7 at the end of 16th over. Shiril (12*) and Kaushik (9*) took Buffs to the final score of 87 at the end of 20 overs.
Target set at 88 in 20 overs, WYOCC started by losing their first wicket in first over with 0 runs on board. Soon they were 3 wickets down with 22 runs on board after 5 overs, Kaushik being the wrecker in chief. Amit (39*) and Sandeep (12) stabilized the wyocc innings along with quick scoring. Shiril broke the partnership by getting Sandeep run out via direct throw. WYOCC soon lost another wicket but Amit and Sameep (10*) played sensibly to take wyocc home without any further damage. WYOCC won the match by 5 wickets in 15.4 overs. Kaushik took 3 wickets for Buffs.
Amit was the man of the match for scoring unbeaten 39 runs.
