TennisCricket - Week 9 - Player of the Week - Das Thumma
Das became the 3rd player to create a century in the history of Colorado Tennis Cricket League. This was Das' maiden century. He was very brutal during his 112 off 47 balls, clouting 9 huge sixes and 9 boundaries. With this innings, he now holds the record for most runs from boundaries and sixes in an innings (90) surpassing Manish(72) and Sriram(64). Das brought his fifty in the twelfth over with a single over on the leg side. Most of his sixes were down the ground or over the leg-side boundary.
His first fifty came in 26 balls, while his next fifty runs came even quicker - off 15 deliveries and broke Sriram Akella's record for the fastest CCL Tennis T20 century which was achieved in 65 balls.
This knock also enabled Anchors team to post the highest ever team score(210) in CCL T20, and the first to cross the 200 mark. Dismissing Panthers for just 89 runs and winning by a margin of 121 runs also sets a new record in Colorado TennisCricket.
For his amazing innings he was rightfully declared as the Man of the Match for this game.
Congratulations Das Thumma.
